Dear Friends,
It’s been about 6 weeks since my last post. I try to post once a month now. There’s certainly enough news out there to write about. The matter of inflation and what’s next for interest rates reminds me of a squirrel darting back and forth in the road in front of an oncoming vehicle — trying to decide which way to go.
Our daughter, Rebekah, was involved in an accident early last month that resulted in a traumatic brain injury. I could write a book about all that God has done since the accident in restoring her. He miraculously rescued her from what, at first, seemed hopeless. She is doing really well now and we praise God!
It may be closer to Fall before I’m blogging again. I wanted to let you know I’m still here and will be posting. Thanks for staying with me and for your support of my blogging efforts.
Paul
Thoughts and prayers for your daughter, your family and you.
“And the God of all grace, who called you to his eternal glory in Christ, after you have suffered a little while will himself restore you and make you strong, firm and steadfast. To him be the power forever and ever, Amen.” 1 Peter: 5:10,11.
Everything in its season, and this is not the season for blogging.
Julian,
Please know how very much I appreciate your thoughts, prayers and the tremendously encouraging scripture. God has been so amazingly gracious and ever-present. May He receive glory in what’s He’s done, is doing, and will do!
Your comment surely lifted my spirits tonight!
Paul
Dear Paul,
I wish Rebekah and your family strength and courage. I hope she continues to recover quickly.
My best wishes from Belgium,
Thomas
Thomas,
Thank you for your concern and encouraging words! I share with Rebekah often that there are people all around who have heard and expressed their concern for her. And I’ll surely tell her I have a friend in Belgium who shared his desire for her recovery and for us to be enabled to help her through.
Thanks,
Paul
