“Give thanks to the Lord, for He is good; His love endures forever. I Chronicles 16:34 (NIV Bible)
I hope you’ve had a blessed day today. I thank the Lord for each of you.
I wanted to write a book to share what I’ve learned about investing, especially with regard to the balance sheet’s primary role in properly assessing risk. The success of the book is due to its readers.
God enabled me to write the book; today He made me so mindful of how blessed I am to have made so many new friends.
Friends are one of God’s greatest blessings. Again, I thank Him for you. Happy Thanksgiving.
And I thank Him for you.
Thanks, dear Rebekah, and I for you. Mom and I had a great day with you on Thursday.
Happy Thanksgiving and Christmas season, Paul !!
I just gave copies of your book to my nephew and nephew in law.
Jim, thanks sincerely. It seems hard to imagine another Thanksgiving Day past and the Christmas season here. May He bless you and your family. Thanks for sharing my book with your nephews!!
I’m thankful that I’ve came across your book, after reading hundreds of other investment books and losing tons of money at the stock market in the past 17 years. I finally gave up investing, until I read your book. You gave me hope again in the stock market. I will read your book over and over again until I get it before putting another penny into the market. Have a wonderful holiday Paul! Thank You So Much again for giving me hope in this life and investing! : )
Sam,
Thank you for your kind comment. As my book says, I had bad experiences with the stock market early on. What I eventually learned from those tough experiences served as a prime motivator for my writing Choose Stocks Wisely. I did not initially have a proper appreciation for just how risky the stock market can be and was not tending to the most important risk-assessment tool, namely, the balance sheet. Choosing to invest in the stock market is a big decision for anyone and I’m no advocate there because it’s a very personal decision. However, I surely advocate the balance sheet before investing in any stock. A share of stock is a share of equity and the value of equity must be assessed carefully before purchase. Equity is only found on the balance sheet.
Thanks again for writing. God’s blessings on you, Sam, and I wish you a wonderful Christmas season with the ones you love.
Paul
