Merry Christmas, friends! We are but 2 weeks away from celebrating the first coming of the Lord Jesus Christ.
Yes, when Jesus took on flesh at Bethlehem as a babe, it was His first coming as Messiah. And He will indeed return as He has promised. Although He is forever the King of kings and Lord of lords, He came to the world over 2000 years ago as a humble servant to reveal God to us during His 33 years on this earth. Then He went to Calvary to die to pay the penalty of our sin and complete His mission, namely to bring salvation to men — to all who would believe on Him.
“But as many as received Him, to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name” John 1:12 NKJV Bible
We don’t have to wait till Easter to to rejoice that Jesus completed His Christmas mission; to shout “He’s Alive!” Indeed, Jesus always has been and always will be the King of kings and Lord of lords.
Hallelujah, Jesus came and saved me from my sin! I will live forever with Him because of His coming. How can one not have a grin from ear to ear when saying Merry Christmas, friend?
May God bless you this Christmas season and in the New Year approaching.
Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas, Perry! Thanks.
Many years ago while a Sophomore in college I made a personal decision to follow Jesus as my Lord and Savior. That choice freed me from the bonds of sin and gave me new direction in seeking how to follow Him. Life has not always been easy, but I have peace in knowing God is watching over me and whatever happens Christ’s plan is far better than what I could ever come up with (Rom 8:28) As a value investor my greatest and best decision was choosing to follow Christ many years ago. As I get older I realize more and more, my earthly life will come to an end but I know where I am going and who I will be with after that (John 14:1-4, Rom 8:38-39). Praise be to God for His immeasurable gift this Christmas (John 3:16).
Thank you so much for sharing that comment. Please know how your words testifying of how God has directed your path encouraged me in my faith — to trust His way in everything. I pray for God to bless you today; and you and your family this Christmas and in the times ahead.
Paul, you always remind us of the most important things in life. Great reminded for us to remember the real reason for the season. Keep up the great work.
Thanks, brother, for the encouraging words. Jesus is our all in all and so faithful to us. Merry Christmas!
