Greetings friends. Remember tonight as your heading for bed to set your clocks forward as Daylight Savings time for 2019 has arrived. I don’t know about you but I love having that extra hour of light before darkness sets in to close out the day.
Mississippi State University, Meridian Campus will host two “Choose Stocks Wisely” seminars, the first later this month and the second will be in April. The first seminar will introduce the balance sheet approach to valuation of an equity security while the second will focus on how to conduct research on specific companies. Go here to read about the upcoming events.
This past week I had opportunity to discuss the notion of making stock investment choices from a fundamental vantage point on a local Christian radio station. The program was about an hour long. It was a good discussion, I believe, and I was grateful for the opportunity. Managing money is one component of Christian stewardship over God’s resources.
Psalm 24:1
The earth is the Lord’s, and everything in it, the world, and all who live in it;
Psalm 50:10
for every animal of the forest is mine, and the cattle on a thousand hills.
Psalm 89:11
The heavens are yours, and yours also the earth; you founded the world and all that is in it.
(All verses above from New International Version, Bible)
Let me thank each of you again for taking your valuable time to read by blog posts; I appreciate the notes you’ve sent and the support for my efforts to communicate the importance of including the balance sheet tool as a vital one in risk assessment and business valuation relative to stock investments.
Its important to always be thankful for all the blessing our Lord has given to us. All things belong to the Lord. We need to be good steward so we can be blessing to those in need.
thank you Dr Allen
