Merry Christmas, dear friends!
From Isaiah 9: 6-7 (NIV Bible)
6For to us a child is born,
to us a son is given,
and the government will be on his shoulders.
And he will be called
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God,
Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.
7Of the greatness of his government and peace
there will be no end.
He will reign on David’s throne
and over his kingdom,
establishing and upholding it
with justice and righteousness
from that time on and forever.
The zeal of the Lord Almighty
will accomplish this.
From Matthew 1:21 (NIV Bible)
21She will give birth to a son, and you are to give him the name Jesus, because he will save his people from their sins.”
I’m so thankful to God for sending His Son, King Jesus, into the world over two thousand years ago for the purpose of bringing us salvation and eternal hope.
May He bless you this Christmas season with great joy. I wish you wonderful memorable moments with those you hold dear.
Merry Christmas to you, too! May you have a truly blessed time with your family and friends this holiday.
season.
James 1:17 — the source of every good gift.
Merry Christmas Dr. Allen. Thank you for your teachings. I look forward to your next book on investing- when do you hope to have it published?
Have a wonderful Christmas with your family.
Al.
A merry and blessed Christmas to you, too, Dr. Allen. May God smile upon you and your family in the new year.
Thank you all sincerely for your support and for the kind comments.
Specifically, to Al’s comment, I wish I could tell you I’ve made a lot of progress, but I’ve made a little progress. I’ve got a layout and done a little writing. Being “Pops” to two small grandchildren has captured my heart and attention.
Getting a somewhat technical book completed and published requires one’s undivided attention for quite a spell. I think finishing my first project led to some unexpected burnout. I keep telling myself I’m a young man:-) I used to be able to “work” a dozen irons in the fire at one time. Now, I get exhausted just “seeing” multiple irons in the fire.
Thanks for asking, again, Al. You are very gracious and it humbles me to know you would support my effort. If I can ever get that spark going real good and see the next effort come to fruition, I’ll surely have to acknowledge you in the book as a source of motivation.
Paul
Merry Christmas, Dr. Allen to you and your family.
I too am looking forward to your next book.
